The magnificent leisure complex offers the customer a choice of 3 types of accommodation:

• Main hotel building
• Garni hotel building
• Villas

The total capacity of the complex is 60 rooms and 150 beds. For relaxation, there is a comfortable wellness area with a pool, a hot tub, 2 Finnish saunas, outdoor seating, and a relaxation room.

The hotel offers a wide range of leisure and water activities with direct access to the water. Archery, bumper ball, water ball, racing simulators, a mobile casino, a laser shooting range, and other activities can also be arranged.

A bit of history: The recreational complex, originally designed for the relaxation of senior officials of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, was built at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s in the style of architectural cosmopolitanism, modernist formalism, and functionalism. It is situated in the middle of forests on the left bank of the Orlík Reservoir.

The construction was completed in November 1963, during the presidency of Antonín Novotný. The complex covered an enormous area of 470 hectares, was strictly guarded, and was not even marked on maps. Details about the secret residence were only revealed to the public after the fall of the Communist regime in November 1989.

The complex was built based on the design of architects imprisoned at Pankrác, with the help of convicted technicians, craftsmen, and construction managers whose names remain unknown. However, the handwriting of prominent figures in Czech architecture at the time, such as Stanislav Tobek, Jaroslav Vaculík, and Bedřich Rozehnal, is recognizable on the individual buildings of the complex.

According to the officials’ requirements, the designs were altered several times, all for free. None of the workers involved in the construction of the Vystrkov complex were ever paid.

The complex consists of the main and Garni hotel buildings, as well as the adjacent villas, which in the past were inhabited only by the highest state officials.
