Granátník Educational Nature Trail
The 8.5 km long educational nature trail brings visitors closer to the nature and landscape around the village of Srnín and the Granátník hill in the Blanský les Protected Landscape Area.
On the trail, it is possible to visit the Granátník lookout tower, the mysterious place “U modrého obrázku” (‘At the blue picture’) or the Czechoslovak military fortifications from 1938. It is a circular educational nature trail that begins and ends in the village of Srnín near Český Krumlov. The wooden lookout tower has been offering visitors a wonderful view of the Blanský Forest since 2003. If the weather is favourable, from Granátník hill you can see Kleť mountain and other distant peaks in the area.
