By bike through the Czech Canada region
Czech Canada is a paradise for cyclists and a great place for active leisure. Feel free to discover the beauty of this area while cycling.
The trail leading from Jindřichův Hradec to Nová Bystřice will take you through the beautiful, diverse landscape of the Czech Canada Nature Park and reveal interesting places that point to the uniqueness of this region – deep forests, picturesque ponds and stone formations – such as the famous stone site called Devil’s Ass. The route can start or end at the picturesque train stations of the Jindřichův Hradec narrow-gauge railway. By riding a steam train or a motor train, you can diversify your program and, in addition, the narrow-gauge railway will take both you and your bikes.
Would you rather exchange the town for peaceful nature? Embark on an educational nature cycle trail that recalls the history of the border villages between Nová Bystřice and Slavonice. The route is 30 kilometres long and will take you to places where the villages were full of life several decades ago.
The tourist region of Czech Canada is interwoven with a dense network of cycling trails. You have a unique opportunity to choose the most attractive destination for your trip. If the chosen trail is beyond your fitness level, you can use the e-bike rentals in Jindřichův Hradec and Nová Bystřice.
