Hotel Vodník is located in the romantic setting of a former swimming area in the valley of the Křesánovský stream on the outskirts of the town of Vimperk, where a public swimming pool originally stood, and the history of the restaurant dates back to 1908.
The location at Vodník is a place with a unique atmosphere for anyone tired of the monotony of everyday life, the hustle and bustle of work, and also an opportunity to spend pleasant moments with family. The diverse environment and the possibility of accommodation make it ideal for weddings and other celebrations.
We offer year-round accommodation in a boutique hotel with six 2-4 bed rooms and four mezzanine apartments for up to 6 people, located near a water reservoir and a forest with a wonderful atmosphere. Some rooms have the option of an extra bed. There is also a recreational sports area in the immediate vicinity, which is artificially snowed in winter and provides great conditions for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. In summer, it offers an inline skating track. The surroundings of the hotel offer many opportunities for cycling, and there is a bike rental available in the town.
The restaurant specializes in steaks and grilled fish. A children’s corner is available for kids, and outside there is a playground. You can also take a boat ride on the Vodník water reservoir. The restaurant has 50 seats. The lounge with a fireplace can be used for private groups, with a capacity of up to 25 seats. The summer terrace and wooden pier overlooking the water surface give the restaurant an unparalleled atmosphere. For larger private and corporate events, we have a large hall with a capacity of more than 100 seats, connected to the restaurant, which will captivate guests with its unique design and views of the reservoir. In winter, guests can warm up by the large fireplace. The hall is equipped with audio and video equipment.
