The International Environmental Education, Advisory and Information Centre for Water Protection (MEVPIS) Vodňany of the Faculty of Fisheries and Water Protection of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice is located in the picturesque landscape of the South Bohemian town of Vodňany, a 10-minute walk from the centre, in a quiet part of town.
It has an accommodation capacity of 35 beds, conference rooms (hall with a capacity of about 100 people and classrooms with a capacity of 25 and 45 people, the larger of which can be used as a dining room with hot meals), free Wi-Fi throughout the entire building and parking in front of the building.
The rooms are frequently equipped with private bathrooms, and there is a lounge and infrared sauna. The educational pavilion (only for the summer season) with a capacity of 30 and 50 people and equipped with audio-visual equipment, has been newly connected to the building.
