The Renaissance National House (originally No. 10) forms a complex building with Prince’s House at the corner. Both houses are known as number 9 and they are located in the northern part of Velké Square in Prachatice.
The National House used to house various Czech associations – besides Sokol, Česká beseda or the public library. Today, thanks to the complete reconstruction of the house (in 2008), the social hall of the National House is one of the most beautiful halls in Prachatice and the surrounding area. It has a rich cultural tradition dating back to the 1970s.
