The premises of the Biology Centre of the CAS provide professional facilities for conferences and congresses within one of Europe's leading ecological research institutions.

The Biology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences is among the largest scientific institutions for ecologically oriented research in Europe. It brings together five originally independent institutes (the Institute of Entomology, the Institute of Hydrobiology, the Institute of Parasitology, the Institute of Plant Molecular Biology, and the Institute of Soil Biology), with its primary focus being research in biological and bio-ecological fields. The Congress Hall is located in the university and academic campus on Branišovská Street in České Budějovice, featuring barrier-free access. It offers capacity for nearly two hundred conference and congress participants. The hall is equipped with modern technology.
