Frana Sramek Theatre in Pisek
Non-binding inquiryThe theatre hall was built here in 1868. The theatre acquired its current appearance during a comprehensive reconstruction after 1937. The grand opening took place on February 1, 1940, with a performance of The Bartered Bride by the National Theatre in Prague, conducted by Václav Talich. The theatre features an artistically valuable curtain that was stored in the depository of the Prácheň Museum for more than seventy years. It returned to its original place in the theatre in April 2006.
