Třeboň State Chateau, a Renaissance residence of the noble Rožmberk and Schwarzenberg families, is situated around a square courtyard and surrounded by an English-style park. Its size makes it one of the largest chateau complexes in the Czech Republic.

Part of the chateau complex houses the renowned Třeboň Archive, one of the most significant archival collections in the Czech Republic.
