Educational Trail Vrbenské Ponds
The Vrbenské Ponds Educational Trail offers a unique opportunity for groups to explore local biodiversity and learn about sustainable management of aquatic and wetland ecosystems.
The trail is located within the Vrbenské Ponds Nature Reserve, a popular tourist destination on the outskirts of České Budějovice. It follows the dikes of several ponds (Černiš, Domín, Nový Vrbenský, and Starý Vrbenský) and focuses on introducing visitors to the fauna and flora of the pond ecosystem.
At the end of the journey, you can enjoy a tasting of local beer at Kněžínek Brewery and Restaurant, situated in a renovated historic farmhouse.
