Are you also tempted by the idea of climbing a mountain through untouched terrain using so-called “climbing skins,” which you remove at the top before locking your ski boots and skiing down through deep powder? The activity known as “skialp” (ski touring) is gaining popularity, precisely because of the feeling of freedom and connection with nature it brings.
Snowshoeing in the Šumava Mountains is something special.
Wander through unspoiled landscapes at your own pace, climb to scenic viewpoints, and descend through deep snow in quiet forest paths. We’ll take you on breathtaking circuits from Kvilda or Modrava, or perhaps from Prášily or Srní, Borová Lada or Hofmanky.
It’s up to you where your heart leads you. You choose the area, and we’ll take care of the rest – detailed route planning, a guide, safety, and unforgettable experiences (including an optional short film of your adventure – click right for a sample!).
