Guardian of the Lužnice Trail
Join us in checking, cleaning, and repairing the Lužnice Trail, a 55 km-long hiking route that winds through the Lužnice Valley in the Toulava region, connecting Planá nad Lužnicí, Tábor, Bechyně, and Týn nad Vltavou. This natural trail is listed among the Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe. By lending a helping hand, you’ll be contributing to the trail’s maintenance and continued development.
The program is organized in cooperation with the destination management company TOULAVA, o.p.s.. Groups are divided according to current needs and capabilities. The activity combines hiking with efforts that promote the sustainable development of the region—such as cleaning riverbanks, reporting fallen trees or blocked sections, and making minor repairs to footbridges. Upon agreement, you can also take part in additional tasks like building trail furniture or performing light terrain work.
