Castle Flavors of South Bohemia

The tradition of brewing beer, as well as various liqueurs, is deeply rooted in the Czech Republic. You can experience and discover this tradition for yourself, and we are certain it won't be just once.

Discover the South Bohemian Čížová Castle, where beer is brewed on-site and which was saved thanks to the brewery itself. The second part of the program takes you to the unique Liquib castle distillery in Blatná, where typical Czech liqueurs have been crafted for thirty years under the auspices of the noble Hildprandt family. Excursions

 

An excursion can be arranged with a guide who will show you around and explain the gastronomic context. It is possible to add a tasting of sourdough bread baked in a 200-year-old oven.
A shorter option is to purchase only the tour of the facility itself. Each stop takes 60–90 minutes, depending on the group’s interest and the tasting.
