The Renaissance National House (originally No. 10), which forms a single complex with the corner Princely House under the shared No. 9, is located in the northern part of Velké náměstí (Great Square) in Prachatice.

The National House formerly served as a base for various Czech associations, including Sokol, Česká beseda, and a public library. Thanks to a complete renovation in 2008, the National House’s ballroom is now one of the most beautiful venues in Prachatice and the surrounding area. It boasts a rich cultural tradition dating back to the 1970s.
